Welcome to YPLC!
Young Prodigies Learning Center is a family-owned business dedicated to delivering a superior education and foundation to our little ones. As parents of four children, two with special needs, we understand how hard it can be to entrust your child to others for care. That's why we established our preschool - to provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can flourish. Our highly qualified teachers are passionate about what they do and are committed to ensuring your child's success.

Meet our Director
Hello Parents,
My name is Mrs. Figueroa, and I am the owner and director of YPLC. I am a proud mother to four children and have been a teacher for over 21 years, I have taught various grades and subjects. Throughout my career, I have held numerous leadership positions.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University (FIU) and two Master's degrees from the University of Miami (Reading) and the University of West Florida (Educational Leadership), respectively. Teaching, learning, and children have always been my passions, and I am a strong advocate for high-quality early childhood education and children with special needs.
Our goal at YPLC is to provide exceptional education to our children while supporting their growth and development. Having worked as a teacher, I understand that each child learns at their own pace and in unique ways. This is why we strive to cater to the individual needs of each student in every area – physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively – at our center.

Health & Safety
At our center we provide a clean and healthy environment. We continuously sanitize toys and classrooms as well as outdoor equipment. We practice constant hand washing and disinfecting as well as good hygiene habits.​

Our children safety is also a number one priority. All of our classrooms are designed with our littles' safety in mind. Our doors remain locked throughout the day, the reception area has no access to the inside of the center unless authorized and IDs are enforced. In addition, parents have access to the cameras in the classroom for peace of mind.
