Our Philosphy
Welcome to the Young Prodigies Learning Center (YPLC)!
At YPLC we believe that every child is unique and deserves a safe, loving and nurturing learning environment. We adopt a child-centered, play-based approach to education that fosters creativity, kindness, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and most importantly, embraces each child's uniqueness. At our preschool we recognize that every student has their own learning style, and therefore, we implement differentiated learning strategies to help them reach their full potential and achieve success.
Our Curriculum
At Young Prodigies Learning Center, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
We use The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based approach that builds learning around children’s interests while developing early literacy, math, science, language, and critical-thinking skills.
Our three-year-old program also incorporates Frog Street, with Conscious Discipline® embedded to strengthen social-emotional development, self-regulation, communication, and positive relationships.
In VPK, we enhance literacy instruction with Kickstart Literacy from Teaching Strategies, helping children build the foundational reading and language skills needed for kindergarten.
Throughout our classrooms, STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—is woven into hands-on activities, experiments, building, art, and problem-solving experiences.
Our goal is simple: to help children become curious, confident learners who learn by doing.
